
Healthcare Professional Support Programme
Healthcare systems in South-East Asia are often under-resourced.
Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in South-East Asia do an amazing job in often challenging care settings. This A4D Programme aims to improve health outcomes by increasing HCPs capability and capacity to manage Type 1 Diabetes cases on the ground.

T1D Network meetings:
A cross-country network comprising of the A4D HCP Advisory Group and HCPs who have been put forward in each country where we operate. The objectives are to exchange knowledge and enhance skills through lectures and case studies, facilitate sharing of best practice medical and psychosocial support for T1D, and strengthen SEA HCP collaboration in the area of T1D. A4D Sponsored Doctors:
We support three junior doctors to assist in diabetes clinics at selected partner hospitals in Myanmar and Cambodia.
